Collaboration Coordinator
Heartwood House is a registered charitable organization (#879671618RR0001) and home base to 22 charitable and non-profit organizations. Heartwood provides an affordable, accessible workplace for small non-profit and charitable organizations to enable them to maximize their services through a mutually supportive hospitable and empowering environment for their clients and participants. We believe we are far better together than working in isolation. Through cooperation and collaboration, member organizations are better able to serve the community and their clients.
Heartwood House is seeking a dynamic individual with strong organizational and time management skills, to be our Collaboration Coordinator.
With supervision by and in collaboration with the Heartwood House Executive Director, the Collaboration Coordinator is responsible for:
a) Collaboration building: Planning and coordinating monthly member meetings, and special committees.
b) Communications: Developing and maintaining communication tools for building a collaborative culture.
c) Opportunities: Researching and informing the Heartwood community of potential grants or education seminars for the benefit of organizational development and collaboration opportunities.
d) Training: Guiding and overseeing collaborative projects.
e) Member Committees facilitation and other related duties.
f) Fundraising planning and support.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Problem solving and conflict – resolution abilities
· Relevant university degree(s) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Working knowledge of Microsoft tools like Email, Excel, Powerpoint.
Positions details:
· 18 hours per week
· $27.00 per hour
· Hybrid work conditions
