Many thanks to the dedicated folks from Deloitte who donated the gift of time on Friday, October 13, 2017. Eighteen Deloitte volunteers spent six hours assisting Heartwood members with various tasks, as well as painting common space areas and helping prepare for Heartwood 's semi-annual OC Transpo Unclaimed Items Sale. Heartwood House serves the residents of Ottawa who are marginalized, living in poverty, and/or in need of educational, mental health, emotional, physical, economic, employment, training or recreational support through collaboration and the development of formal and informal partnerships within the greater community.
